In 2098 Lucy Bozemann set the world record for first solo land crossing of the Great American Desert, doing the trip in 28 days. The entire journey was recorded by Bozemann herself and edited, published in National Geographic's vircast. One of the remarkable things about the show is Bozemann's focus on ethnographic archiving of the settlements and peoples of the Desert - there are enclaves that hadn't seen outside contact for generations until Bozemann visited.

Bozemann's vehicle was the experimental Blacktip MOSX88 Magnetreunoid Coil-Bike, custom built especially for the trip.
