Parsing old intel, decoding Code 708 Comint relics bounced back and forth along the array, hell even talking to some of the vets we have disintegrating their limbic systems in Retirement. There's more than enough recorded history of the Grande Révolte, but if you look carefully you'll find references to the lesser known parts, to the brave outriders and vanguard who fought in the Old City's SubNet, the waterways and sewage pipes and the Sunken System and you know, the InterMet before they redid it. Anyway. 

 Yeah. It was...less glamorous, there's no statues commemorating the tunnel fights, right? But everyone knew of someone lost down there, pilots, frames and constructs all, and if hadn't been for them, we wouldn't be here today. We'd still be plugged into the White Tree or Kaalcorp or freelancing. If you look around, in the older parts of the city, near the outlets or flues, Incursion Points we used to call them, you'll find the white flowers that bloom in the summer. Summer Lilac, we called them Tunnel Lilac.
